Trends move slower in logo design than in most visual fields — a mark has to survive years, not seasons. Still, a few patterns keep showing up in new identities this year.
Quiet monograms
Instead of illustrative icons, a lot of new brands are leaning on a simple one- or two-letter monogram, set in a distinctive custom typeface. The personality comes from the letterforms, not from added imagery.
Single, confident color
Rather than a gradient or multi-color palette, many brands are picking one strong color and using it everywhere — packaging, app, signage — so recognition builds fast.
Flexible systems over fixed marks
Brands are shipping a small family of logo variations — a full lockup, an icon-only version, a motion-friendly simplified version — designed to flex across contexts instead of one rigid file.
Warmth in tech branding
Software brands in particular are moving away from cold, purely geometric shapes toward slightly organic, hand-considered forms, without losing precision.
None of these are rules. The point of watching trends isn’t to copy them, but to notice what they’re solving for, and decide if your brand has the same problem.
